Darris Kilgour Extends Contract

Longtime Buffalo Bandits coach Darris Kilgour has signed a three year deal to stay in Buffalo through the 2013 season. Kilgour has coached the Bandits since 2003, the year he was also named coach of the year.
Last off-season Kilgour stepped down as team GM to Derek Graham so he could focus on coaching only. There was speculation of him going for the Rochester Knighthawks job with the inevitable acquisition of Cody Jaimeson in this years draft.
Kilgour has led the Bandits to eight straight playoffs appearances and a championship in 2008. the Bandits 12 win season in 2003 is the most in their history, the year he was named head coach. Kilgour began his coaching career with the Washington Power from 2000-2002. Kilgour was also a three time NLL all-star, and the Bandits first ever draft pick in 1992.
