A new feature at The Lacrosse Blog. We will talk about where we see lacrosse outside of the lacrosse community. For example, any lacrosse commercials, or features on TV, outside of lacrosse games and videos. Our first National Lax feature is Paul Rabil in ESPN Magazine.
Paul Rabil will be in ESPN's second annual body issue. That is similar to the SI swimsuit issue, but instead it is male and female athletes practically nude. Rabil is the first lacrosse player to participate in this.
Rabil had a busy year this year, winning the National Lacrosse League's champions cup, winning gold for team USA, and making the playoffs with Major league Lacrosse's Boston Cannons.
Either over the weekend or Monday we will have a player feature on Casey Powell.
