NLL Game Preview: Calgary @ Rochester

Preview: The Roughnecks continue their Eastern Division road trip tonight when they take on the Rochester Knighthawks. Calgary lost to Toronto last night, but with a win and Colorado loss they can clinch a playoff spot. Meanwhile Rochester tries to fight it's way into the playoffs, but it will not be easy with Toronto winning and the Bandits playing the Mammoth tonight.

Rochester: John Grant, 55 pts

Goaltender: Calgary: Mike Poulin, 9.56 GAA, 7.84 S%
Rochester: Pat O'Toole, 10.28 GAA, .773 S%

Notes: * This is Calgary's second game of the weekend

* Rochester is half a game behind Boston and Buffalo for a playoff spot. With a win and Boston or Buffalo loss, the Knighthawks could be back in the playoff picture.

* Mike Poulin or Matt King could get the start for the Roughnecks

NLL Game Preview: Calgary @ Toronto

Preview:

Tonight the 6-6 Toronto Rock take on the Calgary Roughnecks. The Rock are coming off a tough loss last week to the Orlando Titans, a game that sent them from possibly contending for division lead to third in the East. The Rock now sit 1.5 games behind Orlando, tied with the Boston Blazers. The Roughnecks, the defending champions, are also in third place, 2.5 games behind the Washington Stealth, and 1 game behind the Edmonton Rush. The Rock have lost five straight games, and look to get out of their downward spirl at home tonight.

Toronto: Colin Doyle, 71 Pts

Goaltenders: Calgary: Matt King, 11.13 GAA, 91 GA, .760 S%

Injuries: Calgary: Kaleb Toth has missed four games this season, including last week's game vs the Swarm.

Notes: * With Orlando in Boston tomorrow night, the Rock could be .5 out of first at the end of the weekend.

* The Roughnecks could also use Mike Poulin in goal, who they acquired from Boston.

* The Roughnecks beat the Rock, 10-8 on Valentines day. Tonight will be their last meeting of the year.

* The Rouhnecks play agin tomorrow in Rochester.

* The game is in the Air Canada Centre at 7:30 pm EST
